Uxbridge triple stabbing leaves one man dead and two injured

George Tryfonidis/BBCOne person has died and another was seriously injured in a triple stabbing in west London.
The 22-year-old Afghan national was tasered to death and arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder after the incident at Midhurst Gardens in Uxbridge at 17:00 (GMT) on Monday.
Paramedics treated the 49-year-old man for stab wounds, but he died at the scene, while the second man, 45, was taken to hospital with life-changing injuries. Police said a 14-year-old boy was also taken to the hospital with stab wounds, but his injuries were not life-threatening or changed.
The arrested man was taken to hospital as a precaution but was later taken into police custody.
The Metropolitan Police said the attack was not being treated as terrorism and detectives were trying to establish any relationship between the suspect and the three victims.

Several more people joined them before the Taser was fired and the man fell to the ground.
Chief Supt Jill Horsfall said: “This was a shocking and senseless act of violence that left one man dead and two others injured.
“Our thoughts are with the victim’s family and friends at this unimaginably difficult time.”

“I have deployed a number of officers to the local area and they will be here throughout the week to provide reassurance as detectives work hard to piece together the circumstances.
“I understand there has been a lot of speculation online following this incident. We ask that you trust us for information and do not share sensitive images.”
The Met said the dead man’s family had been notified and were being supported by specially trained officers.
PA MediaOn Tuesday, four bunches of flowers were left near the police cordon; One of these was placed by a female neighbor from a nearby road who wished to remain anonymous.
He said: “The police came my way last night… I thought to myself, ‘Oh my God, I wonder what happened?’
He said he learned what happened early Tuesday and it made him feel “absolutely sick.”
He added: “The area used to be so beautiful, it has really gone downhill over the years.
“I thought I’d come down and leave some flowers for the family.”
