Ross King, 63, ‘had secret romance with high-profile BBC presenter’ – before relationship with his glamorous new girlfriend

Ross King is reportedly having a secret romance with a high-profile BBC presenter following the end of his second marriage.

The 63-year-old star of Strictly Come Dancing quietly split from ex-wife Brianna Deutsch in 2018 after seven years together.

Accordingly Sun, Those around Ross insist that the relationship with the unnamed woman was completely accidental and took place after his marriage ended.

“They were friends for a while but nothing happened until he and Brianna broke up,” a source told the publication.

‘They kept this out of the public eye because of their profile. Neither of them wanted the pressure of people talking.’

The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Ross and Brianna for comment.

Bridget, restaurant CEO and 20 years Ross’s junior, will remain in the UK throughout his Strictly journey to continue supporting him from the sidelines.

Viewers who didn’t realize Ross was in a new relationship were shocked by the show of love following his split from Brianna in 2018.

Ross made a memorable entrance by gliding into the ballroom on a giant parachute and then teamed up with 31-year-old Jowita Przystał, who even worked a ‘hip hop’ section into their routine, although the star joked that at her age it was more ‘hip surgery’ than anything else.

But it came as no surprise to Ross’s close friends and family that Bridget, who works in the luxury food and beverage industry, was in the crowd cheering him on after the pair’s romance began in 2024 and quickly turned serious.

The TV presenter even invited Bridget to his lavish £1.5million home in the Hollywood Hills, which spans three floors, has a swimming pool and a soundproof recording studio, and where he broadcasts live weekly episodes of Lorraine.

A source told the Daily Mail: ‘When Ross was confirmed to join Strictly Bridget immediately said she would be with him every step of the way.

True to his word, he flew from Los Angeles to support Ross and will remain in the UK for the duration of the competition.

‘Ross and Bridget met in 2023 after being introduced by mutual friends and started dating last year. Bridget moves into Ross’ house in the Hollywood Hills and they are very happy together.

‘He’s extremely successful in his own right, he’s had a great career as a successful CEO of a restaurant company, and that’s one of the things that attracted Ross to him.’

At the end of his Strictly performance, Ross thanked his girlfriend for her unwavering support.

Speaking on the live show he said: ‘It’s lovely that my girlfriend Bridget flew over 5,000 miles to come and watch. I told him, ‘You should come because there might not be too many of these.’

Ross’s girlfriend, Bridget, is currently the chief operating officer at hospitality firm R3 Venture Studios.

The US-based company is building ‘the next generation of extraordinary consumer brands’.

He previously served as COO of plant-based quick-service restaurant Hart House, a position he frequently held for two years. He previously held a similar role at New York company &Pizza for four years, initially joining as Culinary Manager.

Bridget also worked as the Culinary Fairfield and East Coast Business Director for Munchery, another New York-based restaurant, for just over three and a half years.

Ross was first married to actress Charley, born Helen Charlotte Way, in 1999, but they went their separate ways in 2006. They never had children.
