Bonnie Tyler remains seriously ill in the hospital but is in stable condition.
The 74-year-old singer’s management confirmed to the Daily Mail on Tuesday morning that doctors were hopeful about his recovery.
They said: ‘As of this morning, Bonnie is seriously ill but in a stable condition in hospital in Faro, although her doctors are still confident she will make a full recovery.
‘Bonnie’s family is very disappointed by the many horrific and unsubstantiated rumors currently circulating in the media and would like to make it clear that ‘Liberto Mealha’ does not represent them in any way and has not been in contact with them regarding Bonnie.
‘We will issue a further statement as soon as there is new news regarding Bonnie’s condition, but we will ask that the media stop speculating or publishing wild rumors that only serve to upset her family, friends and many fans, and again ask for privacy and civility at this difficult time.’

Earlier in the day, Bonnie’s longtime friend Liberto Mealha said: Mirror He said the singer’s friends were praying for better news.
Bonnie falls into an induced coma after suffering a heart attack following life-saving surgery in Portugal.
The Welsh star, who owns a property in the Algarve, was treated for emergency bowel surgery and a perforated bowel.
Liberto said: ‘I couldn’t see him because he was in intensive care, but we are praying for better news. ‘The doctors are happy with the situation, but so far it’s not that good.’
It is understood that Bonnie suffered a heart attack last week after doctors tried to bring her out of a precautionary coma.
The singer’s spokesperson confirmed at the time: ‘Bonnie was placed in a coma by her doctors to help her recover. We know you all wish him well and ask for privacy at this difficult time.
‘We will issue a further statement when possible.’
Mealha first met The Total Eclipse of the Heart singer when he opened a famous Albufeira nightclub near his holiday home in the 1980s.
It was previously reported that Bonnie began feeling unwell about a month ago and was bedridden for two days at her home in the Algarve before her worried husband Robert Sullivan took her to the private hospital where she received treatment before being transferred to Faro.
It is believed that the singer, who has scored many hits throughout her long career and represented England in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2013, was hospitalized on April 30.
A day earlier, when her health problems were first revealed, a spokesperson said: ‘We are very sorry to announce that Bonnie has been admitted to hospital in her home town of Faro, Portugal, for emergency bowel surgery.
‘The surgery went well and he is now recovering.
‘We know all his family, friends and fans will be concerned about this news and wish him well for a full and speedy recovery.’
He was said to be ‘stable’ in an intermediate care unit at Faro Hospital before a marked deterioration in his health led to his transfer to intensive care.

Sources say that he continued his professional activities until he was taken to the hospital, despite suffering from pain that had persisted for several weeks.
His representatives have yet to comment on reports that he needs to be resuscitated.
