Bourke Street Mall police chase ends in multiple arrests; woman taken to hospital after chase through Melbourne

Leon was working as a lawyer on Bourke Street on Gargasoulas Rampage, and as it was eight years ago, he said there was a strange energy in the shopping center after today’s incident.

Prime Minister Jacinta Allan thanked the police for capturing the suspects rapidly.

“My thoughts are about the injured pedestrian and those who witnessed this event,” he said.

“This is a shameful, dangerous behavior. The Victorians will not tolerate it and we will not be.”

Before today’s Bourke Street, Allan appeared with Victoria Police Chief Mike Bush at the National Police Commemoration Day event in the city.

Bush said that the increased crime phenomenon should “reversal”.
