Sachin Tendulkar appointed brand ambassador of Techno Paints amid plans to raise ₹500 crore via IPO

Hyderabad, Jan 10 (PTI) Techno Paints and Chemicals, ₹500 crore will be raised through IPO in the next financial year, company sources said on Saturday.

Sachin Tendulkar has been appointed as the paint maker’s brand ambassador for three years; This move is expected to help the company expand across the country.

The paint manufacturer said in a press release that it aims to strengthen the brand’s national presence with the addition of ‘Master Blaster’.

“We are honored to collaborate with Sachin Tendulkar, one of the world’s most iconic cricketers and a Bharat Ratna. We look forward to achieving greater and greater things with expansion and IPO this year and no one could have been a better ambassador or growth partner for us,” said Akuri Srinivas Reddy, Chairman, Techno Paints and Chemicals.

The company had announced the appointment of film actor Mahesh Babu as its brand ambassador in early 2023. He served in this position for two years.

The company generated the following amount of revenue: ₹210 crore in 2024-25 and is expected ₹Reddy said it is targeting revenue of ₹450 crore this fiscal. ₹2,000 crore by 2029-30.

Techno Paints manufactures decorative, industrial and specialty paints offering more than 3,000 decorative paint shades. The company currently operates in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Delhi, Odisha and Chandigarh.

It plans to expand to Himachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh by the end of this year and to the Middle East in 2026-27, the statement said.
