Boy, 16, detained for three years after knife incident at school

A young man was detained for three years after an incident with a knife in a school where two people were injured.

A 16 -year -old child was arrested on May 2 by civil servants who were invited to the reports of a student with a knife in a secondary school in Caddington, Bedfordshire.

A student and staff member was hospitalized with slight injuries.

The child, who could not be named for legal reasons, was found guilty of causing great physical damages without intentional, non -false imprisonment without a false imprisonment, and threatened a person with a winged article at school facilities.

According to the court managers, he was detained for three years in Luton Crown Court on Friday.

In June, after the defendant accepted the charges, the Bedfordshire police said that there was definitely not a justification for a knife.

Detective Inspector Kim Caddy said: “There is absolutely no reason to carry a knife, to threaten or to harm others.

“We will always do our best to ensure that those who are responsible have a significant impact, not only for those involved, but on the wider community.”
