‘Boy Meets World’ star Danielle Fishel offers to join Danhausen at Backlash

Danielle Fishel is one of Hollywood’s biggest professional wrestling fans.

The “Boy Meets World” star has been seen regularly at WWE events, including the company’s first “Monday Night Raw,” which aired on Netflix in January 2025.

On Wednesday, Fishel offered to be Danhausen’s mystery tag team partner for Backlash. Danhausen will be in a tag team match against Kit Wilson and The Miz. But he still needs a teammate, and Fishel said he’ll support him.

“Just saying, we have a history,” he wrote in an Instagram post accompanying a photo of Danhausen in face paint.

Danhausen responded with crying-laughing emojis, while CM Punk showed a shocked facial expression.

Wilson also responded by saying, “I think we could break up.”

There is talk on social media about who Danhausen’s teammate might be. Everyone from Punk to John Cena, Shane McMahon, and even Stephen A. Smith have been suggested as the mystery person.

WWE broadcaster Michael Cole shed some light on the mystery partner this week, saying he’s a money lover. Do what you will with it.

The tag team match is one of five matches on the card.

Roman Reigns will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Jacob Fatu, Trick Williams will put his United States Championship on the line against Sami Zayn, and Seth Rollins vs. Bron Breakker and Iyo Sky vs. Asuka will look to be score-deciding events.
