Brad Pitt’s two children are now moving away from their famous father.

According to court documents obtained by The Daily Mail, both Pitt’s daughter Zahara and son Maddox have issued statements revealing their intention to drop the word “Pitt” from their last names.

Both ads were published Los Angeles Daily Journal during June and July.

Zahara’s announcement states, ‘Plaintiff Zahara Marley Joley-Pitt has filed a petition with this court seeking an order changing the names as follows: Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt to Zahara Marley Jolie.’

The notices both invite opposing parties to attend a scheduled hearing on the matter; Zahara’s hearing will be held on September 28, and Maddox’s hearing will be held on September 14.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Angelina and Brad’s representatives for comment but has yet to hear back.

This post comes after Zahara filed a petition demanding that she drop ‘Pitt’ and change her new name to Zahara Marley Jolie.

She publicly dropped her last name when she joined a sorority at Spelman College three years ago.
