Braidwood Museum: “Nationally significant” 1963 slide trove revived | The Canberra Times

The collection of 1,100 slides, donated to the museum by Braidwood resident David Jones in 2023, included images of the Central Desert, tree burial traditions of the Warlpiri people of the Northern Territory, the Queen’s visit to Alice Springs in 1963 and glimpses of Canberra and Adelaide more than 60 years ago.
