Brave shopkeeper fights off knife-wielding robbers with milk crate | News

A brave shopkeeper defended himself with a plastic milk crate when a knife-wielding robber threatened him in July.

Jessie Thompson, 31, of Plas Peregrine, Steynton, Milford Haven, and Bethan John, 25, of Howarth Close, Milford Haven, were jailed following the attempted robbery.

Newly released CCTV shows staff at the store in Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire, fighting with the pair using items behind the counter after one of them threatened them with a gun.

Thompson was sentenced to three years and four months in prison for attempted robbery and possession of a knife. John was sentenced to three years in prison.
