J&K government removes officer who imposed social media gag on teachers without approval

An official who ordered a social media gag order to the teachers in Northern Kashmir “without the consent of the Minister of Education” was abolished by the Jammu and Kashmir government on Monday (October 6th).
“Employees are ourselves and have the right to express themselves in a constructive way. Such unilateral decisions will not be tolerated. Any authorized or civil servant who will work against the interests of the common masses will encounter a strict action, Sak J & K Educational Minister Sakina Itoo said.
Ms. Itoo said J & K is a government of the people, a government chosen by the people and for humans ”.
“This is not just a few privileges. Officer has been added because it was added to teachers and employees to stop using social media at their personal level,” he said.
Official Communiqué, Officer Besir Ahmad Shah, who worked as the Chief Education Officer (CEO), said that he was connected to the Kashmir directorate of school education. The joint director-Shrank officer was instructed to “provide an investigation and present a report to the administrative department within 15 days”.
Ms. IToo said the government is “depends on the welfare of common masses and employees”. “Anyone who falls into government affairs without appropriate authority will face the necessary action,” he added.
The officer gave a warning to government teachers and employees about “abuse of social media .. Censorship warned that one -month wage fine, increase or promotion, recovery of losses, early retirement, dismissal or disqualification from future employment.
National Conference Leader and Spokesman Imran Nabi Dar said, “Bureaucracy should notice that a chosen government is in place. The bureaucracy cannot manage as in the last few years. There is an accountability. This was a unilateral decision.”
Emir, opposition peoples, including the Democratic Party of the regional parties also appeared to have been criticized.
