Apple’s iOS 26 introduces the option to enlarge the Lock Screen clock, improving readability for users who prefer larger clock displays. The update addresses frequently asked questions about how to increase lock screen clock size on iOS by allowing the time to expand across half the screen. Users can resize the lock screen clock by long-pressing, tapping Customize, and dragging the on-screen handle to enter customization. This feature may not appear if there is no open space on the wallpaper and existing widgets are automatically moved down to accommodate changes. Apple’s Craig Federighi said iOS 26 offers a “spectacular new design” and more personal experiences across the system.
