Mass Defections from BRS to Congress in Jubilee Hills

In a major political development, around 400 BRS leaders and workers from Rahmath Nagar Division of Jubilee Hills Constituency joined the Congress Party under the leadership of Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy.

Addressing the meeting, CN Reddy said, “The heart of the people is turning to the Congress. Our focus is on development, equality and public welfare. Everyone who joins today becomes a part of this people’s movement.”

MLA Balu Naik, MLC Balamur Venkat, Birla Ailayya, Vemula Veresham, Chairman Mall Reddy Ram Reddy, Patel Ramesh Reddy, Jaripati Jaipal, Obedulla Kotwal, Congress leader Bhavani Shankar along with various division leaders and party activists attended the attendance programme.

The event reflected growing support for the Congress Party ahead of the upcoming elections.
