British Council honoured alumni at the Study U.K. Alumni Awards 2026 in India

Meghna Singhania, founder and editor-in-chief of Medical Dialogues, Aman Dhall, founder of CommsCredible, Pavan Kumar Sriram, social entrepreneur and founder of Cohort and The Growth Collective, and Richa Roy, partner of Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, were honored with the ‘Study UK Alumni Awards 2026’ in India on Friday.

All of these award recipients were graduates of various universities in the United Kingdom, and according to the statement, these awards recognize the remarkable work and achievements of graduates of UK higher education institutions across a range of sectors.

British Council, the UK’s international organization for cultural relations and educational opportunities, hosted the twelfth edition of the ‘Study UK Alumni Awards 2026’ in India.

This year’s honorees were MC Sudhakar, Minister of Higher Education in the government of Karnataka; Chandru Iyer, British Deputy High Commissioner in Karnataka and Kerala; Alison Barrett MBE, India Country Director, British Council and Janaka Pushpanathan, South India Director, British Council.
