Britney Spears reportedly arrested on DUI charge

Ventura County Sheriff’s Office records show pop star Britney Spears was arrested in California.

US gossip site TMZ reported that Spears was arrested for drunk driving.

Arrest records seen by the Press Association show Toxic singer Spears, 44, was arrested on March 5.

She was given a reservation number and records state her gender is female and her race is white.

TMZ reported that he was arrested at 9:30 p.m. local time and taken into custody by the Sheriff’s department around 3 a.m. local time.

He left the prison around 06:00 in the morning.

Spears is scheduled for a May 4 court date.
