BRS urges Telangana HC to step in over recurring food poisoning incidents in residential schools

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) called on the chief justice of the TaLangana Supreme Court to get the consciousness of recurrent food poisoning incidents in housing schools in TaLangana. Mr. Harish Rao said that repeated food poisoning incidents in government housing schools eroded public confidence and that parents are increasingly reluctant to send their children to such institutions. The Prime Minister urged at least hygienic living environments and safe, nutritious foods for students and called on to improve the conditions and take urgent steps to improve conditions.

He also interacted with the students at the school and blamed the ongoing problems with the negligence and administrative failure of the government and said that such events have been reported frequently throughout the state in the last 20 months.

Authorities claimed that the students ran to the hospital only after learning the visit of the BRS team, and in some cases, children were treated under trees on the school campus and allowed them to hold IV liquid bottles. In addition, despite the need for emergency intervention, he claimed that more than 100 students died during this period.
