Sydney police charge four men over alleged ‘international satanic child sex abuse material ring’ | New South Wales

NSW police say they have uncovered a “diabolic international child sex abuse ring” and charged four Australians for their alleged involvement.

Detectives from the sex crimes squad said they disrupted a Sydney-based network as part of Strike Force Constantine, an investigation into the online distribution of child sexual exploitation material containing ritualistic or satanic themes.

In a statement, police alleged that the network was actively involved in obtaining, distributing and facilitating this material through an “internationally operated” website.

Detectives accompanied by riot police executed six search warrants in Waterloo, Ultimo and Malabar on Thursday morning last week.

At Waterloo, police arrested a 26-year-old man who they claimed played a “leading role” in the group.

The man was charged with multiple offences, including possession of child exploitation material, supplying child exploitation material and distribution and possession of bestiality material.

He was refused bail to appear in court last Friday.

Detectives arrested three men aged 46, 42 and 39 in a block in Malabar. They were also charged with possession of child abuse material and other charges.

All four are expected to return to court at a later date.
