BSF Woman Constable Found Dead at Frontier Headquarters in Jammu
A young woman constable of the Border Security Force (BSF) was found hanging in her room at the border headquarters here on Monday, officials said. They said late Constable Bishnu Priya Roy was attending a three-month Laboratory Assistant Course that started on May 25 and was staying in her allotted accommodation at the Command Hospital within the BSF border headquarters in Paloura area on the outskirts of the city.
Roy was found hanging from a ceiling fan by a rope. His body was taken to the hospital for autopsy.
The cause of death has not yet been determined. The police launched an investigation and the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
