Haydarabad: Haydarabad City Security Council (HCSC) successfully hosted the traffic and road safety summit 2025 at JAL Vihar on the Necklace Road in cooperation with Haydarabad City police.
The two -day summit brought together policy makers, industrial leaders, traffic experts, law enforcement, academy and civil society, and deliberate future challenges and future solutions for urban mobility and road safety.
The event was opened by TG Governor Jishnu Giant Varma and was marked with the participation of Hyderabad police and HCSC senior leadership.
The opening speech emphasized that Jishnu is about giant arrival, not only traffic, but also to save lives, increase livability and create public trust. The governor noted that the identity and growth of a city is inevitably dependent on the traffic conditions – safe and efficient mobility reflects modernity, inclusiveness and progress.

DG and Police Commissioner CV Anand, Hyderabad welcomed the participants, and followed the HCSC’s first summit to traffic and previously focused on narcotics and women’s safety. He observed that traffic is the most visible reflection of a city’s character.
