Bus crash kills 25 people returning from funeral in Kenya

Local officials say that a bus mourning from a funeral in Western Kenya killed 25 people.
According to a police report by the BBC, the driver lost control, deviated from the road and fell into a ditch along Friday afternoon-Kakamega motorway. This area is famous for many fatal accidents.
Police, 10 women, 10 boys and a girl died at the scene, 20 passengers were injured, five of them took five seriously, he said. Authorities, then four people died in the hospital, he said.
Passengers were coming back from a cemetery area and they were all believed to be from a family.
Police said the cause of the accident is not yet clear.
The vehicle was a secondary school bus, but there was no student because it was used for funeral transportation.
The bus came from a grave ceremony in Nyahera and was going to Nyakach, a distance of approximately 62 km (38.5 miles).
The Kenya Ministry of Health called for a “Emergency Blood Driving” to help the survivors and expanded “Yasli Condolence”.
