Muscles, memes and ‘X’ feature in Elon Musk’s candid chat with Nikhil Kamath as Zerodha founder teases upcoming podcast

Days after a teaser went viral, Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath has released the much-awaited trailer of the upcoming podcast episode featuring Elon Musk.

The black-and-white promo shared on Kamath’s social media channels confirms that Musk will be the next guest on the fast-growing interview series “People by WTF.” The trailer hints at a candid, wide-ranging conversation between the two entrepreneurs that blends irreverent humor with deeper thoughts.

Kamath begins by teasing Musk about his physique — “you’re much bigger and bulkier than I expected,” he jokes. Musk laughs it off with an easy retort. This exchange sets the tone for what follows: a lively dialogue that touches on existential philosophy, pop culture, and, most intriguingly, Musk’s long-standing obsession with the letter “X.”

At one point, Kamath playfully asks if Musk is a character from The Matrix, to which Musk replies: “I hope it’s not Agent Smith.” Asked about his passion for the “X” that permeates his companies and products, Musk self-consciously shrugs: “Honestly, that’s a good question. Sometimes I wonder what’s wrong with me.”

While sharing the trailer, Kamath captioned it, “Here’s to delaying gratification. The future belongs to the patient,” which also serves as the tagline of the episode. Clearly, the next episode promises to be more than just glitzy jokes, combining humor, curiosity, and insight.

With the confirmation of the guest, expectations rose. The clip has already created a wave of interest from tech-savvy followers, startup enthusiasts, and social media viewers.

One user wrote, “The way they look at each other every time…it’s a business romance.”

“Elon announcing delayed gratification while literally planning to live on Mars is the most on-brand thing ever,” another user wrote.

A third wrote to X: “Guys… This isn’t a business podcast anymore, it’s a therapy session for billionaires.”
