WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark is in the Bay Area and is drawing crowds before she even steps on the court.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Indiana Fever superstar took advantage of his day off to watch MLB action at Oracle Park.

Unfortunately he had to attend the Giants baseball game, but the picturesque view of McCovey Cove was definitely worth it.

Clark’s appearance at Oracle to further showcase her WNBA star power added further excitement to the Fever’s highly anticipated matchup against the Valkyries at Chase Center on Thursday night.

The matchup will create some tension after last Friday’s heated game in which Clark suffered a back injury and silenced criticism by scoring 22 points and nine assists in a win over Indiana.

After an argument with Clark during the game, Hayes was caught on a hot mic complaining about officials backing the Fever star.

Hayes later faced criticism online after interacting with hostile posts about Clark; This included a post in which she laughed at a fan who suggested a physical threat against the Fever star.

WNBA fans have since called for disciplinary action from a league that critics say has repeatedly looked the other way as tensions over Clark have escalated.
