Camp Mystic Required to Make Changes Before Reopening

Texas state health officials say Camp Mystic must make major changes to its emergency procedures or it won’t be able to reopen this summer. This comes after 25 children and two counselors were killed in floods at the camp last July. The camp has 45 days to make changes, including appointing an “emergency preparedness coordinator” and updating evacuation and parental notification plans.
