A1 traffic LIVE: Major road closed both ways after ‘serious’ crash | UK | News

Northbound road users are advised to follow the hollow square directional symbol on road signs:

– Leave the A1 at J39 using the Barnsdale Bar Junction exit slip road towards the A639.

-At the junction join the A639 and continue along this road for approximately 6 miles to the A645 junction.

– At the junction turn right onto the A645 and continue along this road for approximately 2 miles to the junction with the A162 southbound access slip road.

-Turn left at the junction, enter the entrance slide and continue towards the A162 south. Proceed along this road for approximately 500m to junction M62 J33.

-At this junction, take the A162 exit and proceed towards the end of the secondary road.

– At the roundabout road users should use motorway signs to travel on the A1(M) via the M62 heading east or west, or via the M62 heading north.
