Apartment block proposed for Racecourse Road shopping strip

A small Brisbane is planning to build a shopping strip of bulldozer and greenery -covered luxury apartments.

The proposed complex would be built on a corner block in Hamilton with 12 two and three bedrooms along the four floors, underground parking space and roof terrace.

If approved, there will be a holiday pool, hot SPA, “health facilities” and landscape green area in the development of 53 Hippodrome Road.

The offer of the proposal shows green and red plants in concrete tubs that suppress the building from the balconies of all levels.

Developer Fortis He said that the design was inspired by the historical buildings in the region and that he was inspired by the red brick front and the earthmakes such as the historical St Augustine Church.
