Cara Delevingne finally confirms she WAS romantically involved with Amber Heard during her high-profile divorce from Johnny Depp and says ‘he was driven crazy by jealousy’

Cara Delevingne has finally confirmed that she was romantically involved with Amber Heard at the height of her divorce from Johnny Depp.

The pair have been friends for a long time and have been seen partying together before, but rumors have circulated for months that their relationship had gone further.

Cara confirmed that she and Amber became ‘entangled’ during her messy divorce from Johnny in 2016, and said the Pirates of the Caribbean star was ‘freaking out with jealousy’.

Amber filed for divorce and filed for a restraining order against Johnny in May 2016, accusing the actor of being abusive throughout their relationship.

Following their divorce, Johnny sued Amber for defamation in 2019 over a December 2018 column she wrote in The Washington Post about abuse allegations.

After a televised fight for six weeks, Johnny was awarded $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages.

To talk Louis Theroux PodcastCara said: ‘Do I need to comment? Because we made a movie together and it was called London Fields.

‘He was also making the movie. I think he’s going pretty crazy with jealousy. Nothing was happening at that time. I think it happened later, after the divorce.

‘We were close for a long time and then when we were going through the divorce, yeah, I guess we got involved.’

Addressing Amber’s relationships with X founder Elon Musk, Cara noted: ‘But she also had relationships with other people.’

Following the fallout from her legal battle with Johnny, Amber moved to Madrid with her daughter Oonagh Paige, now four, and her ex-girlfriend, photographer Bianca Butti.

“The case was beyond stressful and she wanted a fresh start,” a source told People magazine, adding that she now has “new energy and is focused on the things she loves.”

The following year, Amber welcomed the twins she was carrying and announced the news in a Mother’s Day post in May.

Meanwhile, Cara recently declared herself a ‘proud lesbian’ and has been in a relationship with musician Minke for four years.

Cara confirmed she and Amber had become ‘entangled’ during her divorce from Johnny and said the Pirates of the Caribbean star was ‘mad with jealousy’.

Reflecting on his sexuality, he told Louis: ‘I always thought in my head, ‘I feel like I can do this.’

‘That’s why the relationship I’m in now feels like I’ve truly fallen in love for the first time.

‘Because when you take away the matter and everything else, I always feel like I’ll sabotage the relationships I’m in and the matter or the work will always be at the forefront, whereas now my relationship is the most important thing.

‘If that’s okay, I’m okay with that, and it’s probably unhealthy, and that could be codependency and everything else. But poly, no, I can’t do that.’

She told Louis she still had hope of starting a family in the future, saying: ‘I certainly don’t want to have children to fix anything, but I think it will really improve the parts of me that struggle to sympathize with the child I am.

‘Because I worked a lot with that and I imagined a little kid going through the things that I saw or experienced, I couldn’t imagine that.’
