Carnival warns passengers about risks of staying overnight in port

A recent Facebook post from Carnival Cruise Line’s brand ambassador sparked a debate among cruise passengers: When a ship docks overnight, should passengers stay on the ship or book a hotel on land?
John Heald, who is also a senior cruise director, recently addressed the issue in a post on his Facebook page.
“You must inform our guest services team that you will do this 24 hours before your arrival. [at] Kabo,” he said.
