Cash-for-votes case: Sobha Surendran appears before Collector

National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidate in Palakkad Sobha Surendran appeared before District Collector MS Madhavikutty on Friday in connection with the cash-for-votes case filed against her.

The Congress had filed a complaint against Ms. Surendran, presenting as evidence a video alleging the distribution of ₹5,000 to an elderly woman in the Kannadi panchayat on the eve of the Assembly elections.
