CENTCOM confirms 2 US service members killed in Jordan during Iranian attack

US Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed on Saturday that two US soldiers were killed in Jordan during Iranian attacks on a US base in Jordan on Friday.
CENTCOM said in a statement about he said.
“Four American soldiers were medically evacuated to Jordanian hospitals. They were later discharged. Other personnel who were evaluated for minor injuries returned to duty,” CENTCOM said.
“Out of respect for the families, CENTCOM will retain additional information, including the identities of the deceased combatants, until 24 hours after the next of kin are notified.”
