Centre’s conspiracy to change federal structure defeated; victory of Opposition unity, says Priyanka

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Saturday, April 18, 2026, accused the Center of conspiring to change the federal structure of the country under the garb of women’s reservation. Claiming that the bill was defeated in the Lok Sabha Changing the women’s quota law was a victory for the Constitution as well as for Opposition unity.

He also demanded that the government implement the Women Reservation Bill, 2023 as per the existing strength of the Lok Sabha.
