CF man convicted of repeated child sexual assault

CHIPPEWA Falls – a Chippewa Falls man who was accused of sexual harassment over two children was sentenced.
Thomas E. Buetow, 35, 426 Woodward Ave., Chippewa district court did not appeal to a child’s repeated sexual assault on Wednesday. As part of a defense agreement, he was waived for compulsory minimum imprisonment. The hearing, which will start on August 6, was canceled.
Judge James Isaacson ordered an investigation before a sentence and set a penal date for November 7. Defense lawyer Matthew Krische said he would receive an alternative PSI for his client. The pre -examination is a advice on a conviction on a type of disciplinary type, including the period of imprisonment by the Correction Office.
Buetow was initially kept in Chippewa district prison with a $ 100,000 cash bond. On January 30, Judge James Isaacson reduced his cash bond to $ 50,000, but Thomas Buetow has not yet published a bond and was imprisoned in Chippewa district prison. In October, he made an innocent objection.
According to a criminal complaint, a man told the police that a child, a child (now 9 years old) and a girl (now 12 years old) said Thomas Buetow was sexually assaulted while sleeping at Buetows’s house. The attacks took place between January 2022 and September 2023.
Experts interviewed both children. The girl said that the attacks started at the age of nine or 10, and said, “Sexual abuse is with Mr. Buetow almost every night of the week,” he said.
Thomas was able to describe the type of attack with the fingers of Buetow.
The police interviewed Thomas Buetow days later and refused to have sexual assault on children. “Mr. Buetow said that he had a lot of drink last year and that he didn’t remember what he was doing the next morning.”
31 -year -old Samantha L. Buetow was accused of initially not reporting a child’s sexual assault. In April, he did not object to an accusation at the level of misdemeanor of child neglect.
Chippewa District Judge Benjamin Lane ordered Samantha Buetow to be sentenced to at least 90 days of imprisonment with the privileges of release of Huber; He was sentenced to six months in prison and stayed. No heavy accusations were read and rejected. Buetow was also placed on controlled freedom for two years. In other words, if he violated the conditions of probation, he could end by serving the rest of the sentence. Samantha Buetow should also complete a parenting class.
Online court records show that Thomas Buetow prevented irregular behaviors and an officer in the Eau Claire District Court in 2019.
