Chaos at Gurukul Exam Centre Over Wrong Papers

Hyderabad: Tension prevailed at the Gurukul entrance examination center in Ryalampadu, Dharur mandal, Jogulamba Gadwal district, when the test did not start at 11 am as planned on Sunday after it was revealed that students were given wrong question paper. Angry parents and students protested in front of the school, claiming negligence.
Dharur police stepped in and brought the situation under control. Officials said 450 students registered for the Common Entrance Test (CET) from the center and 405 of them appeared. Students sat down 10 minutes before the exam. When the question papers were distributed, the staff noticed that students who appeared for the Class 6 entrance exam were given Class 5 papers.
To talk Deccan ChronicleAn official from Telangana Social Welfare Housing Educational Institution Society (TGSWREIS), which conducts TG CET, said: “The problem occurred during packaging at the printing house. This delayed the exam. However, later the correct paper was sent and the exam was conducted.”
The exam, which was initially planned to be held between 11.00 and 13.00, was later held between 15.40 and 17.45.
Parents expressed their anger and questioned the negligence of the management, stating that they had traveled long distances. The administration and police distributed lunch packs and water bottles to students while the papers were being prepared. The police later explained the situation to the parents and said that the exam was held calmly after the delay.
