Lokesh to undertake six-day tour to Australia from October 19

Andhra Pradesh HRD, IT and Electronics Minister Nara Lokesh will undertake a six-day official visit to Australia from 19 to 24 October as part of the Special Visits Program (SVP) at the invitation of the Australian Government.
The visit aims to review advanced education methodologies, strengthen educational and industrial collaborations and promote the upcoming CII Partnership Summit 2025, scheduled to be held in Visakhapatnam on 14 and 15 November.
Australian High Commissioner to India Philip Green extended the invitation, appreciating Andhra Pradesh’s leadership in human resources, technology and economic development, according to an official statement on Saturday.
Mr Lokesh’s itinerary includes visits to leading institutions such as the University of New South Wales, Western Sydney University, Griffith University and the University of Melbourne to explore modern pedagogical models and technology-led learning.
He will also meet with Australian Ministers for Skills, Innovation and Economic Growth, as well as representatives from the Business Council of Australia and the Australian Trade and Investment Commission.
Mr Lokesh will participate in roadshows to be organized by the Australia India Business Council (AIBC) in Sydney and Melbourne to attract global participation for the Visakhapatnam summit. His visit also includes discussions on sports infrastructure, trade and skills development collaborations.
