Ladakh relief: Markets reopen, LG assures dialogue, more jobs in tourism, education & health – The Economic Times Video

After Sonam Wangchuk’s protests and arrest in Ladakh, LG Kavinder Gupta said that the administration was open to dialogue with local leaders and that he was determined to deal with public concerns. He emphasized that more than 1000 business opening has been announced and the growth in tourism, education and health sectors, as well as 18,000 MSME, who employed 50,000 people in the region, is already active. Meanwhile, the markets in Leh reopened after administrative relaxation and provided both indigenous and tourists relief. Gupta expressed his hope that the issue will soon be solved with constructive talks.
