Charlie Kirk hearing will be shown three horrific new images of conservative star’s murder, judge says, as Erika Kirk is seen being rushed into Utah hearing by bodyguards: Live updates

Jurors in the trial of Charlie Kirk’s alleged killer Tyler Robinson will be shown three new images from the day the conservative activist was killed.

Privacy screens will be placed in the courtroom to prevent the images from being shown to the public, and Kirk’s family will have the opportunity to leave the courtroom before the photographs are displayed.

Kirk’s widow, Erika, was seen rushing to court in Utah on Monday as she prepared to confront her husband’s alleged killer.

Dressed in all black, Kirk was quickly ushered into the building by two guards shortly before Robinson’s pretrial hearing began.

The five-day preliminary hearing, which begins today, will be the first time Kirk’s family will be in the courtroom with assassin Robinson.

Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty for the 23-year-old man and will argue he should be tried for murder.

Robinson, 23, is charged with aggravated murder in the assassination of Kirk, who was shot and killed while addressing a crowd of thousands at the Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10.

The suspected murderer surrendered after the shooting, and prosecutors claimed that the killer also sent a confession message to his partner.

He did not enter any defense in the case. His lawyers have not commented on his guilt or innocence.
