Cher, 79, is ‘left speechless’ as she ‘discovers she has a 15-year-old granddaughter confirming years of family rumours her son Elijah Allman had a secret child’

Cher was reportedly left speechless after discovering she had a 15-year-old grandson, confirming family rumors that her son had a secret child.
The grandson’s mother, Kayti Edwards, is said to have revealed her relationship with the iconic singer during an emotional phone call last year.
Former model Kayti, who is also Julie Andrews’ granddaughter, claimed that she had a brief fling with Cher’s 49-year-old son Elijah Allman in 2010, resulting in a daughter named Ever. She claimed Elijah was aware of Ever’s existence and quietly visited every few years, but ‘didn’t want to be a parent’.
The secret was reportedly revealed in 2021 when Elijah suffered a drug overdose and confessed to his now estranged wife, Marieangela King, that he had a child.
The rumor allegedly spread to the family and Cher was said to have contacted Kayti last year to ask if it was true and when she found out she was a grandmother she ‘didn’t talk’.
“He said he heard something from Elijah in 2021 about this but he didn’t know if it was just some crazy talk,” Kayti said. Sun.

‘He was speechless when he heard the news. ‘Oh my God, I’m finally a grandmother,’ Cher told her family.’
The Daily Mail has contacted Cher’s representatives for comment.
This comes just a day after Cher asked the court to appoint a temporary guardian for her son Elijah following a series of financial, legal and drug-related crises.
In court documents obtained by the Daily Mail on Friday, the singer, who shares Elijah with her late ex-husband, musician Gregg Allman, revealed that her son is currently locked up in a psychiatric hospital and explained that his life has “deteriorated significantly” since she first filed for conservatorship in 2023.
Cher detailed an alarming incident in which Elijah was found unconscious behind the wheel of his car, causing a traffic jam, and was later taken to the hospital where Narcan was used to save his life.
The Believe singer also expressed concern about Elijah’s financial behavior, claiming he has ‘no concept of money, cannot manage his finances, and cannot withstand fraud or undue influence.’
According to Cher, her son owes $18,000 to a drug dealer and had to borrow money from a friend to avoid further damage.
On top of his drug problems, Elijah is also facing a $200,000 tax bill.

He also accumulated significant debt after damaging various Airbnbs, including cigarette burns and broken glass, according to court documents.
Cher claims she owes $50,000 from her last Airbnb stay after Elijah reportedly trashed the property.
He also says he was banned from 18 hotels for disturbing guests, making obscene remarks and acting erratically.
In one disturbing incident, Elijah allegedly cornered a young female maid at a hotel and ‘aggressively propositioned her for sexual intercourse’.
Elijah has also faced recent legal troubles, including multiple arrests in New Hampshire on charges of ‘felony theft, criminal mischief, simple assault, criminal trespass and violation of bail.’
Cher emphasizes that her son’s situation has become dire and asks the judge to appoint trustee Jason Rubin as temporary conservator of Elijah’s estate.
He explains that Elijah’s mental health is ‘severely deteriorating’ and his drug addiction is at its worst.
Cher wants Rubin to oversee Elijah’s affairs so their problems can begin to be resolved ‘one problem at a time.’
