Child on scooter hit by vehicle downtown, hospitalized: Cops

Police say a 10-year-old boy was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after a collision involving a car and a scooter downtown late Tuesday afternoon.
Toronto Police said officers responded to a collision call at 5:45 p.m. in the Parliament and Shuter Sts. area.

Cops said the vehicle hit a child on a scooter. The driver remained at the scene and the child was taken to hospital with what police later said were non-life-threatening injuries.
