The pair, who have partnered with Google Gemini for a new campaign to help tenants keep their deposits, admit they couldn’t escape the same kind of spectacle today.
“I think it will be different,” thought Richard.
Dominic added: ‘It wouldn’t be that far off from what it is now but I don’t think we’d even entertain it.
‘If someone were to ask you if you could make something for once and bring it back, I think we’d probably say no.
‘You always run the risk of nostalgia, that you bring something back and it doesn’t tick the boxes in people’s brains, regardless of how they remember it at the time.
‘Sometimes it’s best to park something where it is and never touch it again, and I think that’s where we’re at with the Bungalow.’
Dominic noted that he didn’t think it would work as well for a younger audience today: ‘I don’t think the attention span of teenagers today can actually handle two hours of content.
‘Usually now it takes three seconds and you’re on to the next thing, whereas before it would take two hours to just sit, relax and distract yourself.’
The teenager appeared unsure of how to react during the prank, but Dick and Dom said he found the prank funny and “crying with laughter” after the show ended.

When they moved, social distancing regulations meant it was impossible to hire the builders and tradespeople people normally rely on when it comes to renovations and home renovations.
