Singer reveals her cancer returned in 2021 in new Netflix documentary
Kylie Minogue has revealed that she is in recovery after her cancer returned in 2021.
The announcement was tied to the end of the third episode of the documentary. KylieIt lands on Netflix today.
When Minogue was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005, the news made headlines around the world and reporters followed every stage of her journey, including a time in Paris where she underwent intensive chemotherapy.
This part of his life was deeply hinted at in the Netflix trailer, with a portion of the trailer devoted to a montage of news about his cancer.
So for the second time, he decided to continue the fight privately and take the responsibility of announcing the news himself.
“I don’t feel like I have to tell the world,” Minogue says tearfully in the documentary series. “And I actually couldn’t do that at the time because I was just a shell of a person.”
Although Minogue did not share whether or not her breast cancer had returned, she did talk about how she continues to work, especially as her diagnosis predominates in the background while writing her song. Story For the 2023 album Blood pressure.
