Two men charged with murder after body found dumped in Kent woodland

Two men have been charged over a murder in south-west London after a man’s body was found in woodland in Kent.

Joshua Miller, 32, of Kingfisher Court, Wimbledon, was arrested on Friday and charged with murder and obstructing an unlawful burial on Saturday, the Metropolitan Police said.

Jamie Cooper, 27, of the same address, was also arrested on Friday and charged with obstructing an unlawful burial on Saturday.

Police received a report of a potential murder at an address in Kingfisher Court, off Queensmere Road, at around 10.55pm on Thursday.

The Met said no one was at the property at the time of the police search, but officers believed someone was “causing damage” at the address and launched an investigation.

On Friday, police found the body of a man in woodland in Borstal, Kent.

Police said the victim and the two men accused knew each other.

The man’s relatives have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

The Met said both Miller and Cooper were taken into custody and will appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

A third man, previously arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, was also released on bail.
