China sends horror WW3 threat of nuclear strike hitting in 20 minutes – ‘This is war’ | World | News

While Beijing boasts of its nuclear capabilities, China has sent a chilling warning to the world. Victor Gao, vice president of the Center for China and Globalization, said in explosive remarks posted on social media that China “will not take the first shot” but that the Asian giant will “never allow the second.”

His boast, translated into English and reported by Pakistani media outlet Observer Diplomat (OD), came amid a report by the same publication on China’s “advanced” military capabilities, including a missile capable of carrying 60 nuclear warheads plus a hydrogen bomb. “China emphasizes that any attack, conventional or nuclear, will have devastating consequences,” OD said in an Instagram post.

Neither the video nor the translation have been independently verified by Express. OD urged its Instagram followers to watch footage of Mr. Gao’s reported comments “to understand China’s hard-line stance and the consequences for global security.”

The BBC describes Mr Gao as a senior loyalist of the Chinese Communist Party. Celebrating the 80th anniversary of Japan’s official surrender in World War II, the country boasted of China’s military power beforehand.

China will display the “best” weapons, drones and robots of “all time” at the event, he told Sky News ahead of the Victory Day military parade on September 3. Mr Gao said China’s arsenal would promote peace, adding: “No country would dare to impose war on China.”

Mr. Gao’s hawkish remarks come at a time of rising global tensions and instability, with conflicts between Russia and Ukraine, Hamas and Israel escalating and tensions rising in the South China Sea.
