Rahul Gandhi writes to Railway Minister, seeks halt at Rae Bareli for Rajdhani Express

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi wrote to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and stopped for Dibrugarh-Nw Delhi Rajdhani Express in Rae Baeli Junction.
In his letter, Mr. Gandhi said that as the train has already passed Rae Baeli, passengers from the election zone have long been demanding to alleviate their travels at the station, especially for national capital.
He called on the railway minister to take into account the request of the 20503/20504 and 20505/20506 train numbers in Rae Bareli Junction.
“Parliamentary election region has repeatedly demanded a short stop to facilitate its travel to the new Delhi,” Gandhi said in a letter dated 3 September.
The deputy added that the demand has been waiting for a long time and that the fulfillment of it will take an urgent need of people from the election zone.
