An article dated 16 December about Huw Edwards forming a ‘close bond’ with retired teacher Meinir Loader said Huw Edwards was ‘consulting’ him and that they were seen in a car together outside Mr Edwards’ home. Ms. Loader contacted us, saying that these allegations were unfounded, we accepted this, and that she considered the article a violation of her right to privacy. We apologize for any intrusion or distress we cause.
