CM Flags Off ‘Hop-on, Hop-off’ Tourist Bus Service In Vizag

Visakhapatnam: Prime Minister N. Chandrababu opened a series of ‘Hop-on, Hop-Of’ electric dual-storey tourist buses along Friday.
Naidu, who marked the launch, joined public representatives to get on a luxury bus. These buses would work between RK Beach and Thotlakonda, which includes a 16 km stretch, exhibiting the coastal jewelry of the city.
While greeting tourists from the bus, Naidu said that this initiative added a new dimension to Visakhapatnam’s tourism circuits. Designed for visitors, buses operate in a 24 -hour ticket system with a price of 500 RS and the government subsidizes half of the fee. Tourists can enjoy unlimited travel for only 250 RS for a full day.
Naidu encouraged both citizens and visitors to adopt environmentally friendly habits and help to maintain the cleaning of coastal areas. He called for collective efforts to raise Visakhapatnam’s beaches to global standards.
During the event, the Prime Minister referred to the previous political promises and pointed out that the YSRC party’s declarations of fulfilling Visakhapatnam to fulfill the capital. He criticized the YSRC government for bad road conditions and confirmed the commitment to improve the road infrastructure of the state.
Emphasizing the increasing importance of the city CM, Visakhapatnam claimed that Asia has emerged as the financial and technology center. He announced plans for a submarine cable project that will unite a large data center and the city globally and strengthen India’s role in the digital future.
