CM highly optimistic about ‘Destination Tripura Business Conclave 2026’

Agartala will host ‘Destination Tripura Business Conclave 2026’ on Thursday, July 9, 2026 and Friday, July 10, 2026 to showcase the state’s tremendous investment opportunities. Prime Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that the event will not only help in creating job opportunities but will also help in increasing per capita income and GNH.

The Prime Minister inspected the preparations on Sunday, July 5, 2026, and chaired a preparatory meeting at the International Fair Grounds in Hafania, attended by Secretaries and several officials from relevant departments. CM Saha claimed that Memorandum of Understanding worth ₹30,000 crore was signed in the conclave held last year.

“There is a possibility of receiving investment proposals to the tune of ₹ 1 lakh crore this year. Relevant state departments are working to realize this,” the Chief Minister told the meeting.

He expressed hope that the upcoming conclave will be a great success in all respects, as the state will have the opportunity to organize similar events. “It will serve as an important platform to showcase the state’s enormous investment potential to the world.”

Describing the conclave of cardinals as a historic event, the official said: “We are fully determined to provide all necessary preparations.” He also said that the state is determined to make this conclave a milestone in Tripura’s journey towards inclusive, sustainable and investment-led development.

Officials said that around 500 investors, industrialists, entrepreneurs and policy makers from India and abroad will attend the meeting. The departments will open approximately 20 exhibition stands at the venue.
