CM Opens Renovated MLA Office In Perambur
Chennai: Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay, in his first gratitude visit to the Perambur Assembly constituency after the elections, inaugurated the renovated MLA office, started an e-seva centre, helping members of the public who came there to work, discussed development plans of the constituency with officials, distributed digital family cards to 50 families, distributed ration cards to people and inspected the functioning of a ration shop.
The Prime Minister, who entered the constituency in his campaign van wearing a purple shirt, walked a distance in the waiting sea of humanity, greeted and thanked the people who voted for him in the Assembly elections and handed over the MLA seat to him.
Celebrating the distribution of 73,000 digital ration cards, Vijay distributed over 50 cards to families from Perambur constituency and then visited the e-vehicle workshop of Chennai Metropolitan bus service in Vyasarpadi. He handed over certificates to five people who came to avail the service at the e-seva center located at the MLA office on Sharma Nagar First Main Road in Vyasarpadi. The center offers 275 services of various government departments.
As the MLA of Perambur – he gave up the Trichy East seat that returned him to the Assembly along with Perambur – he handed over his letter of recommendation to the Chennai Corporation Commissioner to undertake developmental works worth Rs 3 core under the MLA Constituency Development Fund.
