Panther and Guerrero were part of the first solo CMLL show in the US. The company traveled to Las Vegas for the event for the first time in its 92-year history. They competed against each other in a legendary match that turned into a must-watch wrestling performance.
Two Lucha Libre giants turned back the clock to deliver an incredible performance. Guerrero hurricades and hit a superplex off the top rope. Panther matched him with multiple suicide dives. When Guerrero moved away from the third, Panther hit a crossbody off the middle rope to the floor.
The Panther ended the match with a shot from the top rope. He then pinned Guerrero for the win.
Fans filling the Pearl Theater at the Palms Casino Resort chanted “Muchas gracias” at the two superstars who thought they were no closer to hanging up their boots.

Meanwhile, the show featured Persephone defending the CMLL World Women’s Championship against one-time CMLL tag team champion and former Total Nonstop Action (TNA) world champion and knockout champion Tessa Blanchard.
Blanchard entered the venue as the top heel and therefore received boos from the crowd. But the rising star wasn’t shy about Persephone. He began working on Persephone, targeting her knee throughout the match.
Persephone would do anything to take care of Blanchard. After Persephone took a chop to the apron, she hit Blanchard with a hard German suplex.
