Two powerful improvised explosive devices found in Manipur’s Jiribam

The Assem Rifles personnel, who moved on intelligence inputs, carried out a search operation close to Manipur’s Assam border in Makh Basti and found two powerful IED weighing 12 kg.
Police said on Monday (October 6th) that Manipur had two powerful improvised explosive devices (IED) in the Jiribam region.

“With three electric power supply, two IED and 12 meters explosion cable weighing with three electric power supply were recovered.” He said.
Authorized, IEDs were destroyed by the bomb destruction team, he said.
