Cold front to bring heavy rain and flooding risk to Central Florida this week
The cold façade, which we have been watching for the last few days, will increase our chances of rain until the end of this week and will begin to shift towards the South.
The front will cause a handful of storms, but the biggest threat for us will be heavy rain. In the next few days, the chance of rain will be on the top of Tuesday or Wednesday.
Some areas may experience 5 to 6 inches in the next few days. This means that the main threat will be isolated floods.
Volusia County, Flagler County and Lake County are the highest probability of this heavy rain, but it can be anywhere in the center of Florida.
The temperatures will be kept under control, because for the next seven days, the top levels of the 80s will be slightly below this time of the year.
