The I’m a Celebrity finale was reportedly thrown into chaos as Jimmy Bullard faced losing 20 per cent of his show fee if he refused to take part.

The 47-year-old former footballer is believed to miss Friday night’s final following his explosive row with Adam Thomas, which will air on Tuesday.

The pair got into a fight with each other during the Bushtucker Trial while filming in South Africa last year, and the fight was said to have become so heated that presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly had to step in. Adam and Jimmy are said to still be at odds over the conversation.

A source told Sun: ‘This is a very sad incident. Both men behaved in a way they were not proud of.

‘So bad, in fact, that Jimmy says he won’t be coming on Friday, which means he won’t be paid the full fee for the show.

‘Jimmy refused to go to the All Stars press launch last month, so everyone knows he’s serious.’

The insider added that Jimmy is ‘determined’ there will be no coming back regarding Adam and is prepared to face the consequences.

They also said things didn’t look good for him due to other TV commitments going forward as he would be seen as a risk and ‘unreliable’.

The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Jimmy Bullard and ITV for comment.

Adam and Jimmy are paired together on Thursday’s episode of The Bushtucker Trial.

The end of Monday’s episode teased the explosive exchange in which the two clashed during the Bushtucker Trial.

In tense scenes, Adam shouts at Jimmy: ‘Are you giving f*ck? I’m getting covered in fucking ants in there.’

The former footballer seems surprised that the actor has left his position and his efforts to placate him only make Adam angrier, while Ashley Roberts watches on.

He tells her: ‘Wow, calm down. This is so pathetic.”

The trial begins with the sound of a vuvuzela. While other celebrities are making moves, Jimmy isn’t.

The 47-year-old former footballer is believed to miss Friday night’s final following his explosive row with Adam Thomas, which will air on Tuesday.

Ant and Dec try to encourage him but Jimmy freezes.

‘Guys, I don’t think I have it in me,’ he says.

The trial comes to an unexpected halt when, after Adam successfully moves the first cog of the abacus, Jimmy says ‘I’m a celebrity… Get Me Out of Here’, sparking an argument between Jimmy and Adam.

‘So what do we do now?’ Ashley wants Ant and Dec to inform the celebrities that the hearing has been postponed and they need to leave the area.

Jimmy and Adam continue their heated argument as the rest of their campmates watch.

Their disagreements cause the other campmates to make an important decision that will affect one person’s fate at camp.
